History
Relocated from Baltimore, Maryland in 1984. The original Baltimore Colts started in the All-American Football Conference in 1946 as the Miami Seahawks who moved to Balmtimore in 1947. In 1950 they joined the National Football League and folded after at the end of that season. Supporting groups and fans protested, which resulted in the NFL forming another Colts team from the remains of the failed Dallas Texans for the 1953 season.
On July 13, 1972 Rosenbloom traded the Colts to Rober Irsay for the Los Angeles Rams, but players stayed in there original cities.
Irsay, in the middle of the night on March 29, 1984, moved the Colts to Indainapolis.
Since then the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Baltimore Ravens.
